HELEN Mirren took a tumble during an outing in Cannes today.
The actress fell while leaving an event at Martinez beach as part of the film festival.
Helen, 72, had been smiling and waving to the crowds just minutes earlier as she made her way to the interview.
The Calendar Girls star looked chic in a white jump suit and jazzed up her look with a shiny purple trench coat and some zebra striped flats.
However, Helen appeared to trip between the mat and the wooden deck and fell to the floor.
The star appeared to fall on her hand and looked shocked by the sudden tumble.
Her team rushed to help her up and ever the professional, Helen quickly dusted herself off.
But it looked like she hurt her wrist as she held it carefully as she walked away.
Helen’s appearance at the Cannes Film Festival comes after she said the rise of Netflix was “devastating” for film makers and directors.
She told The i newspaper: “It’s devastating for people like my husband [“Ray” director Taylor Hackford], film directors, because they want their movies to be watched in a cinema with a group of people. So it’s a communal thing.”
