A RUSSIAN model who flashed her underwear on a red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival after her dress was ripped off has been accused of faking the mishap.
Yulia Rybakova looked stunned when someone appeared to stand on the train of her red gown – completely tearing it off.
The plus-size star had been happily posing for pictures before the incident which left her open-mouthed.
Our video reveals the moment Yulia goes to walk away down the carpet before her dress starts to come apart.
Part of the dress, which was billowing out behind her, appeared to get caught and suddenly ripped clean off the top of her gown.
Yulia spun around when she realised her lingerie was on show to the world.
However the apparent accident has raised eyebrows among her social media followers, with many accusing her of planning the stunt.
Writing on her Instagram account, one person commented next to a recent picture: “Feel like this was on purpose, first of all the fabric is way too thin and it wasn’t sawed on, second of all how did the man know how to put it back on? Nah this is clearly planned out to cause controversy.”
A second wrote: “You’re pathetic. Faking it to get a few minutes of fame!”
While a third blasted her and said the moment was a “cheap trick”.

After the incident the person who had apparently stood on the train of her dress by accident tried to help cover Yulia back up.
She laughed as he clasped the material around her waist and fixed the gown for her.
As well as working as a plus-size model, Yulia is well known in Russia for her work as a musician.
The red-haired star has previously recorded a track called Putin under the name Lady Fortuna.
She has not yet responded to the claims it was a stunt.
